The Thoreb CMCS, (Central Management and Control System) functions as a Content Management System (CMS). Operating via WebDAISY it provides a web-based interface for complete management of content, configurations, and route information for all displays and audio announcements across the entire vehicle fleet.

The Thoreb CMCS is a fully integrated part of the Thoreb Vehicle Passenger Information System (VPIS).

Thoreb CMCS provides you with an easy tool to manage and control the delivery of pre-prepared route, message and audio data and imports, monitors and manages the generation, configuration and distribution of route, message and audio data to VPIS equipped vehicles and monitors and reports the status and fault information reported by on-vehicle VPIS components.

Functions include:

  • Media content and audio announcements can be uploaded, edited and assigned to displays
  • Central configuration of passenger info, e.g. route stop & points of interest announcements
  • Version control and scheduling of content activation, based on time, location or events.
  • Distributes content and config packages to all vehicles via secure 3G/4G/5G depot Wi-Fi
  •  Offline operation once content is downloaded ensures continuous if connectivity is lost
  • Vehicles automatically download and synchronize updated content once connected
